4. OICW Gun
Many law enforcement agencies have switched there weaponry from a 9 mm to a OIWC XM-8 and a XM-29. This project has been in circulation for a long time though it has had its fair share of delays, redesigns, and future proofing. This is a joint work program between Heckler, Koch, and the US Department of Defense. Finally, the OICW debuted in late 2012. The OIWC gun is a Bull-pup equipped with a extended magazine and a 25 mm grenade launcher with HIE-T (High-Explosive Incendiary with Tracer) ammunition. This ammo gives the law enforcement agencies the ability to shoot certain “trick” shots like exploding over a target, and entering an area before exploding. This allows maneuvers and firing to be
